The policy and procedure for requesting that a travel player "Play Up', that is, to play as a primary player one year above their official EPYSA age group, is defined in the procedure at the right.

There is no formal Travel Team Committee approval required to play as a secondary player but the request must come from, and be approved by, the coach of the "secondary" team.   A secondary player must always play preferentially for their primary team in the event of a game conflcit.
