Valley Soccer Club Fall Outdoor Intramural

PRACTICE INFO

Practices will be held at the behest of the head coach.  

Times and locations will be determined by the head coach.

VSC recommends 2 practices per week in the preseason followed by occasional practices during the season.

DIVISIONS

Ages divisions are based on the players age as of January 1, 2020

Peewee Division: For players under 7 according to EPYSA.

$65 Registration includes full player kit (jersey, shorts, and socks)

 

Youth Division: For all players aged 7-11 according to EPYSA

$85 Registration includes full player kit (jersey, shorts, and socks)

 

Age appropriate brackets in the Youth Division will be based on the age of participants and number of volunteers for each age group

Head Coaches (if selected) receive a $20 refund on one player registration

Fundraising: To keep costs low, each family is required to sell a minimum of 5 Joe Corbi’s items OR pay a $40 FAMILY buyout at the time of registration

Volunteer Opportunities include: Head Coaching, Field Lining, Traffic Cones, Canopies, Snack Stand, and so much more


Valley Soccer Club Return to Play Policy


VOLUNTEERS

Valley Soccer Club is a 100% volunteer operation.  As such, we simply cannot function without the help of volunteers in the community.  Please consider volunteering for one of the following positions:

Coach = oversees practices and games (FULL PRACTICE PLANS PROVIDED BY VSC)

Field Lining = assists the Fields and Facilities Coordinator in field lining 

Snack Stand = Volunteers to work the snack stand according to availability and the game schedule

Other tasks which are of value to the club with prior approval.

Clearances =

*As mandated by EPYSA, we are required to ask ALL volunteers to provide the following clearances:

  • PA Child Abuse History clearance ($10)
  • PA State Police Criminal Records Check ($10)
  • An FBI Criminal Background Check if you have not been a continuous resident of Pennsylvania for 10 years ($27.50)

Layout:

Fields 1 - 4 are for U5 & U7

Field 6 is for U12

Field 5 is for U9

 

Rules:

No Smoking at Phillips Field

No Pets at Phillips Field

No parking on the street

No ref abuse

No coach abuse

-completed mail-in registration form (per player)

-check or money order for registration & $20 late fee (and if applicable fundraiser buy-out)

-check per player for the Volunteer Deposit Policy

-release waivers for the use of the fields (2 release forms)
